freakin awful
The The's This is the Day (mentioned in an earlier post as one of my favorite birthday songs) is now the music playing in the back of an M&M's commercial. How freakin awful is that? Its like having your favorite song become elevator musac. I didn't think 35 was all that old...

My mouth dropped and only could believe that he didn't sell out? Do you know if it was the 25yr rule where the music becomes public? I have searched and Matt's comments or even acknowledge is no where to be found. I am a long time fan and truly believe that the music is of true importance to my being.

That's how I felt last summer when Iron & Wine's song was featured in a M&Ms commercial. I was so mad...well, I guess at least M&M's has good taste...
